    Okay, so I know I said I was already Tank heavy.....but well I couldn't help myself! xD I've had the idea of doing a 'heavy' Defense orientated tank and got some ideas after going through some of my Reference Pics;

    The More I think about it the more I like the design on the Left thought, it's rather distinctive and tough looking I think. What do you guys think?

    More tweaking mostly on the legs, still a ways to go;

    Also turns out I forgot to save so I lost the Arms, but not a huge loss all in all! xD

    Heh, believe me I'd love to bring back Demigod's Rook, but it might be a bit of a touchy subject for the guys at Uber.

    Yet MOAR tweaking, trying some thing, cutting down on that poly count;

    Gotta fill in that midriff too at some point I guess.

    I like the new one more. It looks like crenelations; and that is cool.

    Technically it's a better model because it just got a whole lot more readable in silhouette and you reduced the poly-count. Yay! Honestly though, I feel like you need to exaggerate the shoulders more. It's still lacking some weight.

    How about removing the underslung launchers in favour of shoulder-mounted variants?
    The underslung thing is just too similar to the Dox and Slammer for my tastes.

    Nice work man, keep it up. Some (personally I think this) units would be great in PA, and this units have also the style of the PA-Units, suitable.
    PS: it is hard to make this? I think so.. Which program do you use or could you recommend one, maybe a free version too? :) ;)

    'Hard' is relative, I've been using XSI for years so it's it's not hard for me.

    I don't know much about XSI, but Blender is a free 3d modeling program that's pretty good for free.

    Also KNight love the stuff you put up here keeps motivating me to do stuff at some point I might actuary have some thing I feel happy to put up.

    Uber should use some of these models for their new unit roster, when they release it.

    Messed around today with the Hellstorm, liking the results. I dived into the Files for the other turrets to get a better grasp of what Uber has done with their Artillery/Point Defense and did some tweaking;

    Recoil Action

    Basically same idea as last time, fairly high rate of fire(and thus high energy cost), fairly large inaccuracy, some form of Damage Over Time, probably short-medium range.

    Just realized I never uploaded updated pics of the rook so uh.....here?

    Rook - Advanced Suppression Bot

    Equipped with a pair of Grenade Launchers and Heavy Armor, this Slow Bot is great for blunting the edge of any unit formation!

    I'm also in the process updating the First Post with the new thumbnails for the Rook and Hellstorm.

    No, it just ended up not working well design wise and really both weapons had similar purposes, so it was rather redundant. Also the shoulders are now much more prominent than they were previously.

    Love this model, very... Pointed and dangerous.

    Wonder what uber's models for the new flame tank will be like and if the heavy armour is going to be depicted obviously on the model as with your 'dozer' tanks above?

    Yeah I dunno, I certainly haven't heard anything myself, thought my idea for the Vanguard is not short ranged.
