Neutrino self annihilated for two reasons:
    1. He was heading to dinner.
    2. He knew I had all three planets and had just a tiny start over base on the moon, and while he managed to fend off my patrolling t1 bots, he knew I was going to show up with a teleporter and a big force.

Very cool. I'm a tad worried about intraplanetary teleporters, but I suppose it's an expensive game-ender like a nuke, and it's not like they're a Space Temple.

Slamz, I think at the point where a planet would be thick with Umbrellas it would actually be more economical to smash it with an asteroid, unless you wanted its metal, I suppose.

Are walls going to be changed in later updates?
I thought they worked much better in TA as units would not auto attack them.

At this point I'm still assuming everything will be changed. It may not have been obvious is this playtest, but the walls are quite a bit cheaper in our internal build right now. They can basically be look at as visual manifestation of building an hp upgrade.
I think units prioritize non-walls, but usually are trying to shoot something behind it so hit it anyway.

I suppose the best remedy is more units that can shoot over walls!

Tbh, I wouldn't even build walls so much if they were for free. Waste of fabber time and micro imo. Yeah sure I'd use them more than now... on close fronts at least.

But maybe there's something wrong with the concept of walls, and not with their price?
    Or maybe it's just me.

    Greetings

Noticed at around the end of the video when neutrino is invading the moon with his commander. all your bots were scattered and couldn't mount a real offensive.

It would be nice to have a select all units on planet option.

It was easier since you were on the moon. but when planets start getting optimized to be larger Size 4 and up. that option sounds better and better.

I really like the idea of 25 metal walls. IF they are somehow changed so they cannot be used as directional shields anymore. A way to control movement possibilities might be interesting, but for that we will need FA-style walls that are cheap, dont help much as shields and are quick to build.

The problem is that everything shoots with a flat trajectory, so nothing can shoot over walls.

I thought the whole point of a wall was as a movement disruption, not a shield

Yeah that's what I thought, too. Until some pretty weird tower wars in early alpha.

Sure. I agree with you. I just difficult because so many people post this is totally broken all the time, and they don't seem to get what is going on from the dev. stand point. It seems like you get it.

Just because a build gets pushed to us with something totally broken or missing art or imbalanced doesn't mean that it will stay that way. Its just the latest thing they are trying out or where they are in the dev. of an idea. Some ideas take a lot of passes to get right. And people always want the current build, and you can't have your cake and eat it too. You want what I'm currently working on....well ok but there are things that are broken.

For a little while now the game play has been stale because of the exact problems you are describing. The next push looks very promising for spicing things back up.

Good game play always has more than one way to win. There should be lots of different tactics that are efficient and effective. I'm confidant Uber will deliver this in the final product.
