Playing solo?

I just bought the game and wanted to ask weither there is a way to play alone on a planet. Without an AI destroying me I wanna test out stuff and get used to the game before playing vs AI.

Set AI economy to 0 or -1 in the pre-game lobby..

AI will still be there but it wont build

thanks really enjoying this game so far. But I still have no idea what to do in which order.. Is there a beginners guide anywhere that you can suggest?

There is for example from @brianpurkiss a Tread: which is everyone's build order ( or something like that) check those things out and do searches before you ask something

ZaphodX is an excellent commentator, and in a lot of the matches that he commentates he gives good advice about what players are doing and why..
It's a great place to learn some good game-play technique 's

plenty of other casters but with him you'll learn the fastest. notice his auto commentary.

try doing the same, and viewing your game again with the chrono cam after it's over.

Hint..
The economy adjustment is a multiplier.
If set to 2 it doubles the income from metal extractors and power gens.
Setting it to 10 will make each unit produce 10 times its output in resources.

This only affects Metal extractors, power gens, and the commanders resource output rates..
