Cant load the game beacuse of a frozen image.

When the game loads via steam I get a frozen image that I can still interact with but I can only see the updated image when I alt tab through windows then when I return to the game it freezes again, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and updated my drives and Im still having the same issue. The game used to run fine until I have installed 3 monitors to my setup and changed GPU to the Amd Radeon HD 7970.
Does my change in GPU have anything to do with this and can I fix this?

GPU: Amd radeon 7970 with newest drivers,
CPU: Intel I5

can you make and post a dxdiag.txt file here as an attachment.

1 option to try is disable other monitors and see if that stops the freezing.



if you have windows 8 , goto charmbar and click search icon.
type dxdiag there and press enter.
click save all information button and save file somewhere easy to find.
upload that .txt file as an attachment

I disabled a monitor and the problem has persisted.

Also your problem is actually weird and I don't think anyone else had same behavior before.

you can also try updating the ATI driver to the catalyst 13.12 driver, here is a link directly to the updated driver.

This driver is from the 18th of december 2013, the current driver your using is dated 10/8/2013..

I updated to that now the steam version works thank you for the help, time to blow up some planets >
