    Is there a particular reason I cant access the linux-mac sub forums? I am logged in and able to post here but every time I follow a help link or try to access a Linux forum topic it says I am not authorized to access it?

    Thanks

    It's limited to people who own the game. Which you do. So that's a tad confusing. Do you have access now? (As it was a while ago when you asked this.

    Wait...there is a secret beta forum? Do you need to actually use the key in order to access it?

    Yes. If your account isn't flagged as owning the game with an active key, you are not able to access it. And it's not so much "secret" as it is for posting bugs, talking about issues, etc. We restrict it to people who we know own the game because more generalized conversation happens in general - balance, regular discussion, etc. The beta forum is very much about beta issues, bugs, and problems.

    Ah, I see. Hopefully I'll be able to acutally play the game soon. :(

    So, how do I get that flag? Somehow can't find nowhere an option and at the moment I cannot access PA due to a bug whose fix is according to the bugtracker published in the beta subforum.

    If you've claimed your key with your account, you can still access the beta forums. Even if you currently can't play.

    Out of curiosity, what bug is preventing you from playing?

    Did you convert your key into a Steam code? You'll need to link your account to Steam here: https://uberent.com/user/linkedsteamaccount

    Thanks, mkrater, that was the missing bit.

    @grater: I have the no-curser-issue in linux with open-source drivers .

    Well, I hate to say it, but I'd recommend going with the OEM drivers, rather than open source. While we hope to get those working, there are a lot of unknowns where the open source are concerned. And it's honestly outside my area of confidence to say that they may or may not get fixed any time soon. :(

    AMD proprietary drivers are bugged and do not work for PA. :(

    Intel only have open source drivers. I guess Uber devs will be be on Steam Dev Days and there should be Ian Romanick from Intel who will have session about open source drivers architecture. :)
