    With these new features, the game is much more enjoyable to play. The area commands helps a lot with taking the micro out of the game. Thanks Über.

    All is needed for t2 bombers to be balanced is a smaller area of effect. Let it drop the 4 bombs and hit/kill the 4 units. Then you just need to move commander perpendicular to bomb snipe attempt to survive. Still useful but not as op.

    i also hope we will see a nerf to pelter, holtkins and nukes in the near future. some firing randomness for artillery would be great, and less splash for holtkins.

    Maybe unit formations with space between tanks could decrease splash damage to big armies^^

    nukes are too cheap i guess. and interplanetary nukes need to be reworked imo. My idea: Separate launcher (much bigger), and separate antinuke interplanetary anti nuke can shoot them down in orbit, so that you need only 1 anti nuke to cover the whole planet. interplanetary warfare is unplayable right now if youre not in the orbit around the same planet with all other planets/trabants.

    i agree with nerfing pelters and holtkins but all nukes need is a lower amount of damage. The game is already complex adding new buildings that are only necessary for countering one unit/building is just going to cause the game to have 10 odd builds/units that can only be used in certain scenario's, + the game already has a counter to nukes and even orbital nukes which is the anti nuke launcher.

    I hope to see the game having multiple uses for the buildings. I would love to see buildings like the deep space radar being able to upgrade units range of view or give the player abilities that he/she can use on the battlefield like scanning on any planet (costs resources) or something of that sort.

    in any other game situation other than 1v1 on a small to medium planet, land units are a total waste after more than 10 minutes in the game. You build pelter, catapult, holtkins, nuke and win easily^^ i really hope we will see some rebalancing soon.

    I'm gonna guess once the unit roster is fleshed out a bit, we'll have a few more ground-based options for gap-closing when dealing with pesky artillery, I'm assuming gunships should also act as a pretty good ground support for clearing arty too. And let's not forget once air transports are in you'll be able to drop your tanks right next to that holkins.

    we need some anti-artillery land unit, although advanced air is doing a great job for this. ill maybe will try a combination of air/land advanced units vs bunkerers, but still, i will have to invest much more ressources to make him lose.^^

    if all units would get double health it would also help, right now artillery can single shot units. if that wasnt the case, the chances, that your army can reach the defense line, gets higher.

    The whole point is that you're meant to use air in support of your land units. Bombers have been designed to be used against structures. They have a harder time hitting moving targets, but they make super short work of things like catapults and artillery.

    Tanks aren't supposed to be able to close the gap with artillery unsupported, heck, if you don't want to/ can't viably use air, swarms of dox make a decent job of bum-rushing artillery anyway.

    The current anti-artillery land unit is the Dox. Charge a Pelter wall with a few hundred, and, though you'll take losses, you'll eventually overwhelm the position. Their speed lets them quickly close the gap, and their low cost means you can afford to lose a bunch and still have enough left to take out the defensive position.

    This latest build has been really fun! Is there any timeframe on when we will be able to host our own servers and grow the scope of the game a bit? It would be great to start on different planets. Invasion is going to be to be difficult!

    You won't be able to host your own servers until the game leaves beta. But your guess is as good as mine as to when that is.

    Man seriously I don't think posting same thing everywhere will bring newer version of Coherent in game. :mad:

    PS: This red smile looks too angry, but I'm really don't like such spamming and ask you to avoid it at least on bugtracker.
    I'll remove two messages because Coherent have anything to do with broken software UI and Nvidia Optimus issues.
