Oh, and also, I want to see the AI start using naval units, currently it's way too easy to rush to T2 naval and destroy the AI with no difficulty (especially since the AI seems to like starting in water on Earth planets and keeping its commander in the water at all times, DEFEND YOURSELF DAMMIT)
I just go for a naval spawn and rush orbital, head to a moon, build 15 nukes, then just watch the AI for a while, scurry around attacking the other AIs. Hilarious, but futile. Carpet-nuking an enemy base from orbit. Even if they are virtual, it still makes me smile.

If you guys have been keeping up on the live streams, they have area patrol working (ish) in an internal build. So that will be on its way to us some time sooner than later.
With how bad T2 bomber spam is right now, any number of wrenches thrown into the mechanisms would be a joy. That said, teleporters alone would open up a number of new avenues... provided a fix for the aforementioned bombers allows games to reach the later stages.
I think that this is my favorite thread just because it embodies my emotions about every "next update" that we expect.
