Did you bought PA on Steam? Did you tried to run non-Steam version though Uber launcher? https://store.uberent.com/Download/Install?titleId=4
yes, i bought the game through steam, but i have also tried both launchers' p.s: just reinstalled direct X to see if that was the issue as i saw it on another post still having the same issue but it takes like 2 seconds longert before it says pa.exe has stopped working
Just to be sure. Have you restarted your PC after driver installation? There is known problem when game continue crashing even after drivers updated, but works fine after restart.
One more thing you can try to do on your own. Open this directory: C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Local\ Try to rename/remove "Uber Entertainment" sub directory and run game again.

Okay can you please do that: Remove/move "Uber Entertainment" directory again. Run game and wait till it's crash. Open this directory: C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log\ Then open log file with text editor and find string like that: Code: [19:14:44.510] INFO Dump written to C:\Users\ xxx \AppData\Local\Temp\xxxe89cc-026d-4625-9838-5a8axxx7915f.dmp Find crash dump here: C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\ Upload both crash dump and log on forum. I guess you might have Coherent UI crash, but still better ask devs about that.

I can't check your crash dump on my own, I have to ask somebody from Uber do that and they probably won't be available till new year. I'll let you know if I'll have update for you. Unfortunately only thing you can try it's clean OS reinstall.

They just back to work few days ago and I'm also not fully available because of new year . Obviously they can check this thread without me asking about that, but if nobody post here I'll ask to check your crash dump as well as few others collected in last weeks.
Okay there is new info on your, it's related to Coherent UI and extra crash information required.
