Lategame lags on all the builds, because the optimising isnt 100% done yet. I would suggest dropping your graphic setting if you haven't done so yet. Otherwise I don't know. My game doesn't lag until we reach lategame, even with 6-9 planet systems. It just takes longer to load in.

Edit: If all else fail, Consider buying hamsters, they help :D

    o_O you didn't know that?

if you did there seriously needs to be a rule for the usage of the sarcasm tag.

I didn't knew and I forgot already again. 95% of my games never reach orbital and 99% of my games do not have any asteroid that is moveable. I'll consider trying out orbital once it is reworked and actually starts to be fun to use :p
I am so surprised by this because I would have expected it to scale in some more or less linear way. Just a 3 or 25 and nothing in between is weird. Unfinished I guess.

Haha, no, I know that, thx! :) Actually, dropping the graphic fidelity does surprisingly little to enhance performance for me - if it's gonna' choke, it's gonna'. I didn't, however, think about the hamsters. That's what separates our two builds - so obvious!

I could swear that I've seen planets that required five Halleys. Maybe my imagination? o_O

25 halley planets have the 5 gray squares with a number 5 written on them meaning you need 5 sets of 5 halleys (5x5=25). there are no 5 halley planets.

Nah, I know... I built all them Halleys once, just for the hell of it. My withering brain was probably just poorly recalling the five symbols. Need brain hamsters! :p

yes this is exactly what we all thought. I think they'll scale both hayley number and crater+ damage delt.

what's the point in moving the big asteroid if the puny one wipes out the entire planet either way???

5 x 5 there's a little five that noone notices but that you see much better if you use my icon set :)

Haha, no, no, like I said, I went and *built* the 25 stupid Halleys once; I just thought maybe I'd seen a row of 5 without tiny numbers inside them. Clearly I did not. ;)
