Since we all love you guys and such, what do you guys do in your free time? I'm sure we're all curious. Do you guys go to bars together, hang out, have girlfriends? Hell, what games do you play?

Also, hope you guys had an Uber-Christmas! (see what I did there?)

I would guess that they behave like most adults - family (and drinking).

To be frank, I don't think it's any of our business.

My holiday, since I was really trying to stay offline for most of it:
    - Read the Commonwealth Saga, now working my way through the Dreamers saga (all Peter Hamilton books)
    - Cooked a lot, ate probably too much
    - Learned how to make french style baguettes; getting pretty good at it - just in time to swear off bread again for a while
    - Watched the rest of the Big Bang Theory (Except season 7)
    - Drank probably too much wine and scotch (not typically at the same time)
    - Spent most of the time with my spouse and our cats
    - Did a few local trips, including some amazing meals out
    - Played some Spore (Bought it on sale - see why people were dissapointed.. so much promise, but after you hit civilization phase, kinda fell apart for me)
    - Played some Everquest on my laptop while hanging out in the living room. Yes, the original everquest. The one that is now roughly 15 years old. :)
    - Bought about 10 games on the Steam sale that it will probably take me 5 years to get around to playing: Anno 2070, Gnomoria, The Tomb Raider Collection, Spore, Rocksmith 2014 (That will get play time almost immediately), Brothers - a Tale of Two Sons, BioShock Infinite, C&C Red Alert 3.. ok, maybe only 8 (though Tomb Raider was something like 10 games by itself, so whatever :)

10 bucks says sorian sits watching his AI fight each other all day giggling as he imagines poor newbies encountering them for the first time ;)

Spore was a shame, they promised so much but in the end they just cut so much good stuff and pushed it out, sick of the project.

I thought the ending of spore was pretty funny, though you can tell they didn't care as much about tribal and civilization stages as the other 3, and space was only fun after you had all the upgrades so everyone would stop bothering you

After working as hard as the Uber Devs do, simply doing nothing feels very good. I know that's how I feel after Exams.

Bloody Valve and their bloody sales! I think most of us are probably guilty of this. I must have dozens of indie games in my Steam library from various sales (Humble Bundles ftw!). One day I shall get around to trying them all!

This trap is fairy easy to avoid, by the way. Just buy it as present and put in your inventory. Do not add it to library, unless you are going to install and play it right now. And if you don't feel like playing something - you can always give it to someone in need.

It's totally dumb, but my big objective over the break was to eat. I lost around twenty pounds since my move up here in September, and I really want that mass back. So, I kept going to the store over and over again, buying pasta and eggs and a ludicrous amount of chicken. I'm back up to 208 now! I'd like to get to 230 -- that's kinda my overall goal looking forward.

Other than that, I just kinda explored my new city and laughed at the weather. It was a good, laid-back kinda holiday break.

In general, devs (especially triple A ones) do not have free time.
