PA.exe crashes on Start-up

Hello, bought PA yesterday and have the Problem, that it crashes right start-up, if I try it over the Launcher and directly. On Steam, it starts, but closes right away without any error message.

Followed your FAQ and:
- Updated Graphic and Sound Drivers
- Installed Direct X and Net framework 4.5
- Starting it as Administrator

Its still crashing. Here my DxDiag

Non-English characters in path to game directory might cause crash on start up.

So please check that you only have English characters and numbers in path to non-Steam launcher.

Hi, dont have any Non-English characters in the Installationpath: E:\Games\PA\PALauncher.exe

Then let's gather proper crash dump.

For start open this directory:
C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log\
And upload few of your log files here on forum.

Ok, I dont find it under the Path you said to me, even looked into LocalLow and Roaming.

Can you try to open directory where game installed and run "bin_x64/PA.exe" directly?

Tried it with and without Admin. Still crashing. If need the Error-Code, its "PA could not start Properly (0x000007b)"

Odd that there is a difference between steam and Uber launcher.

Have you tried verifying files/deleting reinstalling game files?

For PA 0x000007b usually mean incorrect "d3dx9_43.dll" file installed and can be fixed this way:

Hey SXX. I started out having the same thing happen. I did exactly as you said but now it won't start, No messages come, nothing. Do you happen to have a clue?

Most likely DLL issue fixed and game crash due to outdated graphics drivers (most often issue) or just incompatible graphics card (very rare). Try to update your drivers and if this not help check my signature, upload your DxDiag.txt for me.
