I was thinking about the nukes. One their weapons of mass destruction. So...Why not make the time to build them a little longer. Also, sometimes rockets fail during launch, mid air, etc. Why not have a small chance of any rocket, nuke, orbital things, etc, Fail to launch and fall and cause some damage or huge amounts of damage.

What about Nuclear Artillery, cars, planes, etc. That are basically moving nuclear launchers. The nukes on those would take extra time because you'd have to make them, and like irl load them in.

Nuclear Subs should be able to hold real nukes not the plain missles. So like irl, hold 12, but! They go very slow, take a very long time to make.

That's all I got right now. If you got any other ideas, I'd like to here them in the comments :D

I don't like anything random, especially with high damage stuff like Nucks.

Because one can assist nuke launchers with fabbers, the only way to have it take longer to build is by making it more expensive, or remove the ability to assist. Also, having anything fall to chance like a failed launch has no place in a proper RTS game.

Nukes have great range, only on rather large planets would you ever have to move one to have it be within range of the enemy base. I've only played a dozen games or so, and I don't think I've ever had that problem.

Once again, I'm not sure anyone would ever use something like this, especially if one cannot assist the nuke. Also, when would anyone ever need 12 nukes?

Just my thoughts, sorry I have no ideas to add, I'm certain there are plenty of other threads on this topic.

Randomized rocket failure would be terrible. It'd mean someone could lose because they were unlucky enough to have their rocket blow up.

We're also likely gonna see some changes to nukes. Last I heard, Uber was exploring the possibility of having multiple nukes buildable in the silo.
