Surprised (and happy) this game is still active, but...

... are public matches still worth it? I always liked popping into public matches and fooling around but it's been so long. Are there any people playing the game for fun in pubs, or is it pretty much private only at this point?

Pubs are still around. There are usually three or more public matches going on.

Hey rhineville. Cool to see ya around here again. Though I only hop in once a month or so, mainly PC gaming now, there are always packed rooms to join. For a little ole niche title the community has held quite strong over the years.

Also if you would like to get more serious in your matches there is always the PM (Private Match) community. Basically this game is still very much alive whether it be regular ole public games or the more competitive matches. It's still here for MNC.

Pubs alway exist even if you host it will fill up quick. Most players are new yet old vets still play. Those who get sick of the juice chaining play pms since its more fun.
