I decided to attempt a different approach with the release of the strategy guide. I have been working with Uber Entertainment on this for over a year and it looks like things are close to being wrapped up. The 113 page (146 total) guide is in final review and editing. I had to take a break when I actually started having dreams in which I was playing blitz. Since I desperately need help in getting this finished, I am asking the forums for assistance. Please do not reply unless you are serious about helping this project. What I need is help with structure, flow, and type editing. What that means is that I need people to go over the guide looking for my mistakes (I am sure that there are a lot of them) and to let me know if the guide is easy to follow. Also, I need people to actually play the strategies and let me know if they actually work for anyone but me. For those willing, If people can review my youtube strategy videos and critique them I would appreciate that as well (I will try to to remain positive about the critiques). The youtube channel is "mnc boxsox". This started out as just a Sudden Death basics guide and exploded from there. It now covers all 6 matches and includes sections like the new "Box Tops" where I give some of the tricks that have helped me become #1 in the world in 2 blitz matches and in the top 1% for all 6 classes in 5 of them.

I'll test strategies if you'd like.

Keep in mind I'll be drunk as f*ck but I'm pretty sure I'm the best at killing bots in this game (Mostly because I can't kill players ;) )

I think the dominant classes for blitz would be: assassin, tank, support
Sniper would be helpfull with the right builds and ice trap placements plus his 2x grapple on jackbots..
I never really try to push bots with each class but theres certain limits for each class that limit you or how you want to go about doing it...
    long range or short range..

Assassin + 1-2 supports is probably best.

Assassin with juice melts jackbots which is nice for the later rounds. On the other hand, you have to have a competent one that can survive/a good host so that the jackbot doesn't slam the assassin off the map lol.

You do NEED a support to heal turrets though, I don't think you can get very far if your turrets keep dying.

Per GrindouT, I believe the best setup is 2 tanks and a support.

I've heard from him that is the best but if you ask his partner (arbac)for when him and kor got top spot he said 2 assassins and 1 support for the fact of the mobility and speed.

I think if you had a reloading tank and a rail gun tank or rate/armor/reload you might have a good shot long range or close range to spam the blossom but reload/armor/skill is still hard to top in reloading speed spamming it.

Juiced rail guns or juiced blossoms take minimal effort on melting jackbots as well and i think you abosolutely need a tank to get past the buzzer waves with deploy 3 behind the wall.

Support is a must for healing, hacking and air strikes and the firebase stops most gapshots.

I dont know what the record is for 4p...

Also one big word of advice.. dont play online blitz with bullseye and juice off from crossfire pm settings.. it carries over and cripples you in the later rounds.

Although no juice or Bullseye does build character, and everyone agrees that I'm a character.

I think you may have something there. I tried a 4 person yesterday but messed up on a pillar firebase throw so we had a major problem because of the loos of the upper spawn firebase coverage. The hack and healing of the support with the "are you freaking kidding me" destructive power of 2 tanks sounds awesome. I'll try that with the others and post the video on youtube if I don't suck too badly. By the way, I highly recommend not going 4 person unless you want to have a very close and personal relationship with about 50,000 (I may be exaggerating by 3 or 4) blackjacks throughout the match.

Apparently I am a bigger newb than even I thought with forums. I can't see who posts which responses to the polls so just send me a private message if you want to help with the guide. Thanks, John.

Definitely, I almost have the 2 player SD mapped out. I need someone to verify with me 2 person for exhibition, Scramble, and SSD (the other I can extrapolate). Then when we do 3 and 4 man for 4 blitz's to wrap up strategies. Then, I can add some of the suggestions from the boards and release the ultimate blitz guide covering all 6 blitz's for up to 4 players.

for 3 and 4 player blitz matches we may need 4 shave Ice turrets because bots come out of the rear spawns after round 50 when using more than 2 players. I am thinking the the inner sides would be Rockits instead of Shave Ice, the turret behind the Moneyball along with the inner rear turrets would be a Shave Ice, and the outer rear would be Rockits. No more Long Shot turrets but they are mostly to help with the side spawn bots anyway.

The Shave Ice / Rockit combos in the back are to slow down and pound rear spawned Jackbots.
