Freezing

A few minutes into gameplay with about 2 two second freezes, PA just freezes, but music continues and the mouse is moveable. Is it anything other than GPU hang, and can it be fixed by updates?

It's can't be fixed by game updates because it's caused by outdated drivers:

To update drivers you need download and install "Win64_152820.exe" from Intel website:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23377

I'll try it, but the intel auto driver updater told me the graphics were customized and cant be updated by intel generic drivers.

It's lying, kind of. Actually your laptop manufacturer is bad (crap) and deny driver updates for no reason.

You need to do this:

1. Check this article:http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm
2. Download ZIP version of drivers I liked. (Win64_152820.zip)
   
3. Unpack it.
   
4. Install it though Device Manager as explained.

Everything will work just fine.
