I know Uber respects the persons who pledged for this game, i too was one of these persons, but it's rather boring to play alone, i have a LOT of friends who would buy this game without any hesitation if it was on flash sale. I dont think it's a bad thing to discount the game, maybe there already was a discussion about this but maybe we should really consider this, i'm having trouble finding people to play with, and mostly french people.

It has some sales. As much as i would like to ask chucklefish to flash sale starbound, i can set it to alert me if it does, and i broke down and brought it anyway, but i know steam controls it not devs.

Actually, it's not totally Steam, you can ask to be in a Flash Sale. Thanks, i'll check it out, but it doesnt mean there shouldnt be a flash sale.
I'm not going to comment on the flash sale, because honestly that's something for Uber's marketing minds to consider rather than ours. Anything we post as users is ultimately going to swung by the bias of 'we get more for less'
