I didn't try hard enough, but I also didn't have any luck getting it running on a Toshiba satellite laptop. I assumed it was hardware specs. This could not be the case. Wait for the next person to comment who should be better qualified than I.
No one else is replying But I am now able to get into the game, after tedious driver revision. But, I can't start a game or play. I can freely make solar systems, bla bla bla, but generating worlds results in a crash and i just don't know what to do. I want to play.

Every laptop which have CPU-integrated graphics should work. E.g @bengeocth have laptop with Pentium P6200 which have 1st generation of Intel graphics (e.g 2nd generation is HD2000 HD3000), which called GMA HD. Any laptop with older hardware and onboard (integrated on botherboard) graphics won't work except some AMD one (AMD RADEON HD 4250) for desktop PCs.
