Since internet explorer 11 update, I can't click inside the text boxes at bottom of threads, or text boxes in the screen where you enter replies at. I can only enter this at all through capability view, and it still is missing the Bold and Italicized buttons and such.

No prob, I can enter the bbccode itself or whatever. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else, what should I do to fix it, and I really considered Firefox but I need to redownload all the addons again and to save space uninstall them from here...

My next question is, what internet browser does Linux run?

What kind of work computer forces you to use IE? Does he work for some kind of company that specializes in torture and requires its employees to become acclimated to the kind of torture they will inflict?

Many reasons why use of IE is very commonplace in enterprise IT

    1. Your average worker does not get enough admin privilages to be able to install software. This minimizes risk of virus infections, internal hacks, and installation of bootleg software.
    2. Old proprietary web basted software that use activeX which only works on IE and is critical to the job
    3. Heavy use of IE since its deeply integrated into Windows and active directory policies.
    4. Use of IE since it can read and automatically log you in using your windows credentials.
Dependent on what industry you are in, the more secure you have to be the more likely you will see restrictions. As far as I know its not easy to impose active directory restrictions on firefox and chrome.

So, I started a taboo discussion about why xbox one is better than ps4...

...wait, I mean why consoles are better than pc...

...no, that's not it, I mean why internet explorer is better than firefox.

...ANYWAY, the point is you internet people argue SOOO MUCH, just answer my friggin question about why you think internet explorer is doing this, OR what browser usually accompanies use of Linux OS, specifically Ubuntu?

Also, I am like 22. I honestly use IE because I had been to lazy to IMMEDIATELY download firefox, and then downloaded addons when I needed them, and now am stuck with this browser unless I want to backtrack work and completely reset IE to default so it doesn't have a load of stuff on it, and then recollect the addons for firefox instead.

EDIT: Scratch this. It appears to be internet explorer 11's fault, and I hate internet explorer too, that I cannot deny. I am just going to go ahead with the "IEI", or "Internet Exploder Initiative". While I am at it, I might go ahead and partition my hard drive and get a copy of Linux.

    1. Restrictions don't matter to a competent IT guy (or any IT guy from this decade) who knows IE sucks and chooses to install another browser on all the computers. Even my middle school did that.
    2. Other browsers can use activeX
    3. doesn't make any sense to me
    4. Other browsers can do that

If security was the focal point, IE wouldn't be used.

If it makes you feel any better, I am currently installing both Firefox and Linux dual-boot.

I would give you a cookie, but I could not promise it is actually powdered sugar on top and not boric acid.

Besides breaking with the forum use last update, there is nothing evil or wrong with Internet Explorer. At the end of your day, all your arguments still just surmount to how everyone says Walt Disney is evil, Obama is evil, EA is evil, Xbox One is evil, the list could go on...

First you are trying to use the IE and now you are switching to Linux. Now that's extreme. You do know that firefox/chrome work on Windows just fine, right? ;)

You don't want me to bugtest PA on Linux? Because I am perfectly capable too.

In matter of fact, I am too tech savy for my own good, as to install Linux I need a disk or flash drive. I just tried mounting the folder as a disk virtually, then tried booting from a virtual machine's startup. After trying every measure and realizing I couldn't get it to work for me, now I have to spend the time actually doing it right.

Laziness always costs more time than it saves...

So far, PA is inspiring in the field of Linux anyway. Such a large support in both directions, the users of Linux and the developers of PA.

I just thought I always liked the idea and there has never been a better reason to set it up.

I only kept going because you said you figured out the problem. ..figured it no longer mattered one way or another. It truly was a surprise it turned out to be IE - yours sarcastically, JBeetle.

If you've ever done any web development, you'd know that IE makes you do a lot of stupid ****. Like, as in, you have to do special compatibility with IE.

That was the exact reason why online retailer Kogan put up a tax for IE users last year. :p

IE likes to stay behind the curve, at least it's better than email html.
