    Greets!

I get a backlash every time I start a new thread but I searched and did not find anything like this one anywhere so here we go.

I have noticed that there really isn't a thread dedicated to listing and describing different game rule ideas. I did find a lot of threads discussing specific game rule ideas but not a unified thread for the topic. Below are some links to previous game mode threads.

To keep this thread open and useful. Let's stick to just describing the game rules themselves. I would like Uber and the modding community to see this as a list of options so that they can weigh the benefits and viability of the various options. Let's let the experts decide how to implement or develop.

    Snow ball fight.

All teams or players would start on separate planets that are at the same distance from the sun and spaced equally around the orbital path. All planets would be the exact same planet with one moon for each opponent. For example in a two team match each planet would have one moon. In a 4 team match each planet would have 3 moons.

The goal is to smash your opponents planets first. Commanders are restricted to their starting planet. This would be a game based purely on economy and build power.

Victory would go to the team that was the last to go down. Even if a moon is on it's way but has not landed yet.

In the current state of the game this could still be managed using one planet to launch from. When you leave the start planet you cannot return and all structures left behind must be destroyed to prevent carrying any economy over to the main part of the game.

The different teams would not be allowed to return to the starting planet and no new economy can be built until all teams have landed on the secondary planet.

Thanks Zaphod, As usual, I did not find it.

Just the same I think this thread will be useful, so long as people stick to simply posting their suggestions and the discussion is kept to a minimum.

I was actually hoping this could be place to list house rules to play by. Like some of the videos you have done. IE kill Orb.

That is exactly how the other thread works. It would be better to just compile everything in one place.

There is so much clutter in that thread it is hardly useful at this point.

Clutter? It's a bunch of people posting suggestions, it's no different what what your doing here.
