When it was getting built, it was in the shape of a four sided pyramid.

Here are some of the things that he mentioned that i didn't know at least.

    - New orbital art.
    - Bombers have been much improved, they seem to not be completely useless now.
    - You can have fabbers come out of a factory and automatically assist things now (I think this is what he meant).
    - When low on power the orbital and deep space radar folds back up.
    - Possible (He thinks maybe) planetary nuke range increase?
    - All the other awesome stuff coming in the next build.

Are the green circles for the area commands just a placeholder? I feel they should show the mesh frame of the building like normal construction does.

the only thing that annoys me at the screen is that trees still grow out of robot-buildings :p

Not being specific, but every and all updates shown in the steam are all amazing. It also at least acts as an appetizer to ui functionality, and shows good faith on development promises. Nonetheless, it was nice of them to focus on this, it mainly benefits players and i am sure they could have worked on something else. Perhaps it was also just something that was a side effect feature of their work on internal builds. Certainly a gift for players though.

Assuming the notification system alerts you if it sees units in orbital transition, this would keep it useful as a single entity and add depth to it.

With this idea, single deepspace radar still gives you notification on incoming and exiting enemy orbitals, and expanded ones give you vision of moons and fully expanded ones gives you view of the whole system.

Really the ideas work with land radar too, where stacking radar might expand their range but it would be overpowered if it literally doubled each time there.

Oh, wow. What a reference! You guys *can't* be under 30. If you are... then your schwartz is way bigger than mine. :p

Edit: I like that even the dev's computers take an age to load a three-planet system. Now I don't feel quite so bad for my three-minute load times. ;)

It's how you use it that counts... and out of interest I'm 29.

Mmm... that's just within acceptable parameters, I guess. ;) I mean, the relative portion of people that have even heard of that movie continues to dwindle rapidly.

I like the idea of stacking deep space radars to increase coverage. It reminds me of deep space satellite arrays here on Earth, which are AWESOME.
Also, memory FAIL, I was getting Lonestar confused with BraveStarr...."Strength of a BEAR, BEAR, BEAR"

This is even more off-topic, but the Spaceballs reference reminded me of this funny image set I just saw this week.

Stream is up again with a new game.

Edit: New feature: Anti-nuke buildings come with the first anti-nuke pre-built.

In the future you should include a date in the title.

I saw the thread pop up to the top and got all excited that a new test was happening today. But nope.
