If you have any mods, I'd advise to turn them off. I got this error with the current build an it was because of a bad mod. Try reinstalling if that isn't the case as I believe it is on your end and not ubers.
hi there, thx for the update .. performance seems to be much better for me I think some points: - I was not able to change the "rolloffdirection" of the new botfactory .. bots only leave to one side and then run all the way around the factory to the new rallypoint :-/ - I love the new camera spin .. is it possible to adjust this feature somehow? if not make a slider please ! - still some pathing issues on metalplanets - my interplanetary nuke somehow disapeared (couldnĀ“t try anotherone .. cause the game ended) keep it up UBER - great work!!! moldez
I have to tip my hat to sorian here, i haven't played against the AI for a couple of patches so i do not know how much of the AI improvement is specific to this patch, but it definitely has come along nicely. I've just played a match and while it's still not very hard to beat it had me fooled into thinking i've accidentally started a match against a human opponent. At one point i was coming at the commander with an ant death blob and it actually ran away and outmaneuvered the blob in a canyon... Of course there's the obligatory list of new Bugs, so i'll just mention what i've found here for completeness sake: (Mac OSX) Commander icons not visible Zoom is waaay too sensitive (even with regular mouse) Switching to other planets by mouseover requires pinpoint precision when zoomed out
Since the new update i have heavy performance problems. The build before was much much much better. Also if I send my commander with an astreaus to an other planet it looks now like the first screenshot. The commander is on the map in the sun but he is reaching his final destination. Ans also the path is still a little bit strange. Also the units stuck at a trench
yesterday i had a problem where i wanted to test the new changes with an ai and a planet with a moon. I stuck for ever at "generating planets", even though I could see both the moon and planet fully generated. Could not select a start position though and the generating planets label wouldnt disappear. Tried it like 5 times, then I had to go to bed.
Lag is massiv. Just played a regular 10player game and the performance was very bad - the previous version run way smoother.
Sounds like you have an old version of the commander hp mod or maybe some other mod that breaks with the newest version of the game.
Yeah double click their name in the lobby and you are given 2 options. Kick/promote. Think promotion means they cannot be kicked and gives them the option to kick. Haha just made the last part up but seemed like it was the case.
I haven't played for the last two or three patches and I have to say(again): amazing work guys! Performance has really increased, even after building the adv. radar sat I don't have total slowmo like before(still a bit slow, but totaly playable now) The new orbital paths look really great and all in all it just feels more polished than ever. Few things I noticed though(sorry if already in tracker): - progress bar from nukes/antinukes does not disappear when zooming far out - When getting commander to a moon/planet via the transport, the two icons moved different in space, my commander was shown quite far away from it at times, but landed as they should. - No orbit path shown of planet after smashing a moon into it
Just tried playing (64-bit Debian), crashed twice randomly with "Bus error". No other information about the error displayed.
