I have been playing PA on-and-off since late Alpha (so has worked up til now). My drivers are up-to-date, as is Windows 8.1. The latest build however crashes on start up. This is repeatable, it happens every time. Hitting the magic "Debug" button and looking in Visual Studio 2013 and I get "PA.exe has triggered a breakpoint". Alas I don't see anything else in that which looks like it would help. Please check my signature and upload your DxDiag.txt. But most likely you'll have to remove built-in graphics drivers and then install latest legacy drivers from AMD website: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows 8 - 64 Obviously you don't need to do that if you done it's already in before.
Also can you please open this directory: C:\Users\ YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME \AppData\Local\UberEntertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log\ And upload your *.txt logs on forum.
