The funny thing about incredibly complex systems is that, looking at them, they don't seem like they're complex.

We have:
- Round planets
- Procedural generation of planets and terrain
- Lots of units
- Lots of adjustments to the planets, between buildings, asteroids hitting, etc.

These are not all solved problems, by any stretch. Any one of them, might qualify as "easy", relatively speaking. All together? This is not simple stuff.

Simple? No, never. "Easy?" For us: nope. For you: yes!

The problem here is the amount of work you guys do in any given day. You guys work so hard that you fix all the problems, add awesome new stuff, and then everything breaks, only to repeat again and again. It's awesomazing.

I do feel like you guys took the *lets do this awesome idea noone has done before* like SOE did with Planetside2, except its actually working and people like you, the devs.

Whereas everyone I know in the PS2 community despises the developers lol. They did something awesome, but now all we get are excuses.

I was killed by an interplanetary nuke in the morning game. That build had some issues that seem resolved. So.... soon

soooooooooooooooooo, still no unit cannon? can someone confirm that it is being worked on and at the top of the priority list? because orbital is still unusable due to not being able to move armies between planets....

My problem is slightly different. In the lobby, I can see the games that have been created but the server rejects me when I try to join (or create my own game).

Is this new camera supposed to take away the ability to pan around the planet by using the scroll wheel in the empty space around the edges of the planet? That is how I had been moving around up until now. Seems a little awkward being able to somewhat move the camera by scrolling onto a point near the horizon, but if the mouse slips just a little off the surface, you zoom directly in.
