    New ideas

    • Deflector Bot: The Bot is unarmed and requires more mass then a regular dox. It has hitpoints but that go down by the number of hits and not by actual unit damage. The shots that hit it though.. get reflected in a random 90 Degree Cone from the source of the shot. This unit has no attack.
    • Air Land mine: built from the Air factory, creates a moving hovering land mine that when shot, radiates a ring of bullets to destroy aircraft.

    Combat engineers, somthing that can go out, expand and defend its self.

    This is not just feasible, but given the progression of technology it is inevitable. All the speed of a high flying aircraft with all the safety of a deep submersible vehicle.

    So, um... basically mini-commanders. You could call them privates or captains, which are both a rank that is under "commander".
    Awesome idea though. Thumb-up.

    Wow I completely forgot about these uber concept shots. Everything I've seen and heard since seem to have been ruling out experimental units though. Not gonna read that huge thread but is that megabot still being looked into by Uber ?

    I think the above idea of a combat engineer relates more to the T2 UEF Field engineer in supcom. It had limited construction capabilities and not very useful against anything T2 but great to setup a small firebase while under fire.

    No not mini commanders, a unit with a nanolathe and a small laser or something. I dont like the idea of a second walking mini nuke in my base.

    What if you flipped it around?
    A combat unit with a small nanolathe, for capturing newly conquered territory or spontaneously erecting an artillery position amid your army.
