    Hi all,
On launch of the game (which looks fantastic by the way), I immediately get a message saying something along the lines of 'Pa.exe has stopped working'
After reading some other threads and updating my driver (or at least i think i have) I've come to the conclusion that my laptop just can't handle it. Would it be ok for someone to have a quick look at my dxdiag and confirm if this is the case?
Thank you very much for your time,
    Jamie.

Your drivers is still old and they're cause crash:
    Code:
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series
    Driver Date/Size: 7/18/2008 10:27:48, 1626624 bytes
You need to download and install latest legacy drivers (Catalyst Software Suite) from AMD website:
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows Vista - 64
If you did it already try to remove existing drivers though Windows Control Panel and then retry installation of latest drivers. There is known issue with AMD lagacy driver installers that it's not always overwrite existing drivers.

Also as you said your laptop it's pretty slow and only have 3GB of RAM. Most likely it's will have very low performance, but still it's shouldn't crash on start.

    Thanks for your quick response,
I tried the link you posted, but i think im on vista 32 bit. I then tried the equivalent system for vista 32, but this then caused my computer to crash and require a system restore. Any ideas as to why?

Unfortunately on Vista dxdiag not report if system 32-bit or 64-bit. Anyway I'm seen drivers info and think system is 64-bit.

As I said AMD legacy driver installer sometimes fail to install newer drivers over old one. You need try to remove existing drivers and only then install latest one.
