Can't get past Terms and conditions screen.linux

I have tried a number of times on different versions. I have been quite busy with work so have not fixed it. I have tried searching for the issue but perhaps my search foo is no good. Also i find the forums organization kinda weird so sorry if this is in the wrong place.

With the latest version it will start in windowed mode and will present the terms. The mouse works in the sense that mouse over the decline button will highlight it. However clicking on the accept button makes it go un-highlighted and then does nothing. At this point the mouse will no longer highlight. Sound is fine CPU usage is about 5% or something.

I am on slackware 64 bit 14.0 on a thinkpad W530 with the lastest nvidia dirvers.

What desktop environment you use? Compositing?

Also I'm never use Nvidia on laptops, so I don't sure. Is mobile Quadro use Optimus too?

Thanks for the fast reply. I have optimus disabled in bios. I use KDE and i have tried with and without composting to no effect.

Pretty strange. Can you please try to do that:

1. Run PA.
2. Check if Coherent running using "ps aux | grep CoherentUI_Host"
3. Click on something.
4. Then check Coherent processes again.

There should be 8 processes all the time. If after you click some disappear it's might be Coherent crash.

Yes these process are there before the click and not after.

However i just tried this on my new laptop which is identical other than its not slackware 14.1. It works fine on that machine.

Perhaps i should just update.
