Totally... we could even vote on "what is your favourite randomly generated number?". That'd be a cracker
Did i ever tell you how productive your ideas are sometimes? Because if i said anything positive, i retract it. I voted c.
Ii wouldn't say that. He has good ones. I would say at least this post has no impact. Not negative impact like newbie complaints threads. With that being said, why isn't all but well structured discussion over important matters deleted from the forums?
Personally, I like polls in threads. But there are lots of stupid polls in threads that aren't remotely helpful and don't add anything to direct the discussion.
No. We do not need more polls. Nine times out of ten, they are a terrible way of representing the views of the community, and even the ones on topics where useful information may be gained, they are almost always worded in biased, and loaded language. I would be perfectly happy if the ability to create polls was restricted only to mods and admins.
I like good and useful (!!!)polls very much, because they show us very good opinions to the question, so I think if a poll is useful, you can use them, ( It's very useful to use them in very long threads, so you have a good overview). But I hate polls like " yes or no" or something random s*** !
Polls are great. Democracy. Like the American people voting for president and congressional representatives. ... and then they rate them below 40% when they won an election with over 60%. Which is an example of "are you sure you care about the poll results"?
Im not too big a fan of useless polls in forums. However, Snarglefargleblergh is one hell of an argument. I mean if I could Snarglefargleblergh when ever the hell I wanted to, there would simply be no competition.
What about a poll on poles with which to poke people who start new polls? Or possibly for moving a gondolier?
It's a sneak preview of the new "Aquatic planet's" buildings and units! Coming up next Blimps for Gas Giants!
