    Haven't been following all the current news but;

    1) When it comes to the system generation in 'New Game', Will we be able to select how planets in the system and their individual sizes then generate it? (Rather than making it in the system editor);

    2) When will the Ai commanders start building in separate locations from each other? (A rough ETA would be cool);

    3) Will Ai difficult settings be added soon? E.g Easy, Normal, Hard, Sorain Ai. :p

    4) Will there be different sound effects for when certain unit/buildings get attacked/destroyed? and

    5) An update on backer's rewards. Has Uber started sending out T-shirts, Posters etc?

    Cheers.

    1] Isn't that......basically the system editor? I don't really see the point in creating 2 system editors.......

    2] When Sorian reaches that stage of the AI Development.

    3] See 2].

    4] That would likely be part of or coming shortly after the UI overhaul Uber has said they're trying to work on.

    5] No. It's come up before so a Search can get you the full answer.

    Not really. He wants you to be able to 'fix' some aspects of the system and randomize others. As it is, any particular system you make in the system editor is completely fixed, and the generated test systems give you barely any control over what comes out.

    You are right with the system editor but I see that as a custom/specific system editor.

    I'm talking about this generator. It is set to two planets only. Is there plans or will be plans to set more than '2' planets the future. Instead of using the system editor all the time, it would be cool to go 'Planets: 4', 'Generate new' then start playing.

    Call me lazy but it could be handy.. :)

    Well that's not a system editor thing, thats a lobby option.

    You can limit AI using economy scale. Set it to less than 1 to slow down his resource income.

    I also have few questions and will replay here ;-)

    a) I read to show the metal as icons I've to click CTRL+N.
    But nothing happens - is it the wrong shortcut or any other function to show it?

    b) How can I activate icons for all buildings, units, ...?

    c) If I give my command the job to build more than one building in the tutorial you can see all open (not builded yet) tasks - I don't see it.

    In the Game settings > UI I've sett all options to "allways" how can do the things from a/b/c but nothing works.

    Can you help me?

    Thx,
    Julian

    a) ctrl+n is the shortcut, it should then show metal spots as little green dots. It should be set to default since a recent patch anyway?
    b)the icons for the buildings and units activate at a certain zoom level, so just zoom out and they should appear. I think I heard mention that there is also an option to turn them permanently on in the settings menu?
    c)The build queue will appear if you hold shift, which is what you should have been doing to create the queue? Green arrows are movement, blue is assisting (I think?) and red is attacking.

    a) ctrl+n doesn't work for me - there appear no dots.
    In the settings it's activated but still no metal dots.

    b) if I zoom out there are no icons anyway.

    c) yes, I'm doing with holding shift and the command goes from building to building but I see no building schema which isn't builded yet and I don't see any arrows (neither green, blue or red).

    d) and I see no lifebar anyway - not from units and not from buildings which are in construction.

    Here is a screenshot from my settings: pa.JPG

    I use Windows 7 (64bit), Nvidia Geforce GTX680 with the newest drivers (Geforce R331 Driver -V331.65)

    Any other ideas how can I fix it?

    Thanks a lot,
    Julian

    "When will ___ be done?"

    When it is ready. Uber doesn't give out ETAs.

    They have said that difficulty settings will be "soon." But "soon" can mean a lot of things.

    They have not sent out backer's rewards. They're working hard on the game, rather than merch.

    stystem editor is as lightweight as it gets, it doesn't generate planets unless you ask it to, before that it repsents them as dots. to which you can do exactly what the OP asked for

    since you can open up the system editor as you would a drop down menu (an why not even make it inside a smaller, drop-down window?) then there is no need to make this.

    I can comment on the 5th question :)

    We are still working on many of the goodies associated with the Kickstarter and pre-orders. You will receive an email before we send them out to verify information (i.e. names, shirt sizes, and shipping address.) We expect to send those out by the time we launch the Retail game.
    If you'd like to make sure your shipping address is correct, you can update it here: https://store.uberent.com/Account/MyAccount

    You have to open the editor and save the system every time you want to make even the smallest change. If you want to make random changes, so that the planets aren't identical every match you play, using something other than the 2 planet template, it's not convenient right now.
