I tried loading up PA on my old computer (Win7 x64, Intel 945 graphics, dual monitor setup), but rather than telling me my hardware is unsupported (6 year old laptop embedded graphics barely supports 1.1, let alone 3!), or showing a blank screen (like Portal 2 and a few other games do), the game crashes when I try and play it. I don't expect a fix to let me play the game on a junker, but I DO expect the game to fail gracefully.

and it's in Beta for a reason. "Graceful" crashes are nice in retail versions, but in Beta it is quite helpful to have that extra data when reporting it to Uber or getting help.
    maxpowerz and lokiCML like this.

Personally, I prefer a computer to crash epically.

I prefer that because if you have to ctrl alt delete to end a program, because alt+f4 doesn't work, that's not graceful.
