PA.EXE chrash

Just bought the game 3 days ago and i cant get it to run! It works perfectly on my mac but when i start it on windows it crashes at launch. The fact that its only broken on Windows made me believe it was a driver or DirectX problem, but after spending the day trying to fix it im starting to loose hope. What should i do?

It's this PA issue: PA#2227

You need to install sound drivers or if you already have them try to connect headphones or speakers. On some sound cards Windows don't see them until speakers/headphones are connected.

Thanks it worked the second i plugged my headphones in, what a stupid problem!
