Download the uberlauncer and download and play the game through uber's servers, steam is glitchy there servers have been a bit unreliable.
Playing with a copy of the game downloaded an installed via the uber launcher should resolve all issues if you have been playing already through steam.
You can log in and play with your uber account it should already be linked.

It's been a few month since I didn't retry to play and it was during the alpha.
So I can't realy tell when it started sry.

Thanks for the responses, i'm going to try instaling the game throught the uberlauncher.
If not, seems my last resort will be reinstaling windows...

I will report if the uberlauncher solution works

I don't think you need to reinstall Windows right now, at least we need try to find out why exactly it's crash.

    Try to do that:
    1. Try to open this directory:C:\Users\ YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME \AppData\Local\
Notice that AppData is hidden directory and you might need to toggle view of hidden files:
      http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files#show-hidden-files=windows-7
    2. Find "Uber Entertainment" directory here in list of files.
    3. Rename it to something like "Uber Entertainment - old"
    4. Try to run PA again.
Post here about the results and if it's not fix crash I'll tell you what else you can do.

    Good news in the front!!

Using the uberlauncher SOLVED the problem.
I tried first eliminating the appdata information, but it didn't worked.
Then I used the uberlauncher solution and worked perfectly.

Time to throw some moons at people
    Thanks everyone!

Can you please spend few more minutes of your time?

Looks like there is multiple people with same problem so devs might need some feedback on it. Please try to do that:
    1. Disable Steam Overlay:Right click the game in your Library -> Select Properties -> On the General tab, uncheck the box next to Enable Steam Community In-Game
    2. Try to run PA from Steam again.
Post here if it's crashed or not.

As you asked, I just tried disabling Steam Overlay but the game still crashes.
If you want to try anything else, feel free to ask, I will gladly help.

Uber Launcher is the program that downloads and allows you to update the game.
    Login to the forums,
    then goto this link
https://store.uberent.com/download/pa <-- its the link to download the "Uber Launcher"
you can then sign in with your forum/Uber Entertainment account and download and play the game.
