Well I tried simply searching LAN but nothing came out. So basically I'll be 100% honest here. Two of my friends and me we play Supreme commander. At first a year or so ago they didn't own it. I did on steam. So we did it like this. They all signed into my account went Offline and we played Supcom in LAN. It was great fun both comp stop or 1v1. So much that after a month or so they decided to both buy the game on steam. Now I see there a 40$ beta going on today. And my question is basically does it have LAN and can people play it like the above. I'm hoping to convince them both of buying the game. They both bought Supcom at full price on steam. Like 20€~30€ or whatever... TL;DR Does the game have LAN and can people play it with only one copy via steam offline mode or not?
Ah thats a shame. Well I might still buy it to just check it out. Shame it won't be able to play with them... the sale is till tomorrow right? When does it end when does "the day" end since I'm Europe GTM+1 here.
I'd be you I wouldn't waste time. your friends will end up buying the game either way once it becomes "the stuff"
