    It's kind of silly as well. Sometimes you just spam your mouse because of lag.

    anyways the whole apm thing was a bad idea and Uber should stear clear from it. score would be more usefull.

    I think the best PA players should have the lowest APM. They know all the hotkeys and use there actions very efficiently. It is after all a Macro game.

    About Radar
    I agree radar should be more accurate, if technology can do it now it should be able to do so in the future. Basicly show boats, land units, planes and buildings. Still I agree that scouting should be rewarded.

    If you have a radar standing and you scout and you discover that a land-blip is a tank, should your radar remember that that blip is a tank? I think it should remember. However if that unit moves out of your radar range you lose that information.
    You scouted, now you have information that stays valid until you lose site of that unit.

    Threat rating
    Give all units and buildings a tread rating.

    When you get under attack notifications: (TD =Threat rate)
    TR: 10 Engineer under attack. (fabber under attack by scout)
    TR: 2000 Turret under attack. (Your def line is being attack by a sizeable force)
    TR: Strategic disadvantage: orbital transports, advanced radar, orbital launcher, umberella, anti-nuke, unit cannon.
    TR: !!! Nuke launcher, experimental, orbital laser or detected.

    Might be easy to translate into a map version that displays hostiles as red blobs and allied as blue blobs.
    A sound might also go nice with the warnings.

    keyboard, gamepad, mouse, any "button" is counted in APM.
    do you think the pro starcraft players play without keyboard? ...truth is the bigger half of their APM is keyboard.

    APM counts ALL actions, not just mouse clicks.

    So high level players are still going to have absurdly high APM. =p

    The last two sound like a removal of scouting to me. I dont understand why you wont let this thread die though, nobody sees a problem with radar blips as they are. The last page is just you bumping it because again, nobody sees the problem.

    While it is true that tatsujb bumped up his thread. If you look at the poll you would see that 66% of the voters wants change. So he isn't the only one that wants to know or explore some other possiblities with radar.

    I would actually like a differentiation between air/land/naval on radar.

    But unless you've actually gone out and seen what that unit actually is I wouldn't want the radar blips to be like 'fighter' 'bomber' 'ant' 'dox' etc.

    i could quite easily call 47 votes a minority/coincidence. Thats what i dont really get about these polls. A lot of people dont bother voting because they are literally pointless.

    Anyone that disagrees that Radar should change has clearly not played Supreme Commander. Not seriously, at least.

    Supreme Commander did radar amazingly. Copy it.

    Wasn't perfect, but rather quite-good. Mainly fell down when interacting with spoofing(jamming, but not stealth) and/or cloaking.

    it's that easy.
    grey you don't know what they are and you don't know who they belong to.(speaking of which, you do in PA. How the fuc k does radar differenciate one faction from another?)

    color they've been within your line of sight and haven't exited your radar's range then you know what they are.

    buildings stay forever once ID'd untill destroyed (just like PA's ghosts but with the icons)

    yea, I'm serious though, do check out faf, I guarantee you'll come back here just busting with ideas.
    let's just stick to the icons talk, stealth doesn't exist in PA so we're good.

    You are a bit too enthusiastic about it. I think it's obvious that this is going to be implemented at some point. Basic functionality.

    It would be interesting if radar recognised not the type of unit, but it's behaviour. If you never seen the blip moving, it should be assumed to be building.
