Okay, so I've searched the forums for the past couple of hours and I've checked to make sure my drivers (both video and audio) are up to date. Checked to make sure directx is up to date. Tried running the game from the steam folder as well as in the x86 subfolder. Even tried deleting the uber entertainment folder from the c:\users\USER_NAME\AppData..... folder.

Any help would be appreciated and if you need any more information please ask.

    Unfortunately they're still really outdated:
    Code:
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670
    Driver Version: 8.631.0.0
    Driver Date/Size: 6/25/2009 18:28:02, 4059648 bytes
Download and install latest AMD Legacy drivers from here:
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows 7 - 64

Also if you get any error problem within installation process then you might try to remove existing Catalyst though Windows Control Panel and then retry to install latest driver again.

I have the exact same issue on my System running Win7 64bits, 8gigs of ram, Core i7 2600K, 560gtx TI and of course latest drivers. This does not occure on my Win7 64bits, 32gigs of ram, Core i7 3770K, 660gtx TI and also latest drivers. I'm pretty sure it's not related to GFX drivers. I've tried to remove and re-installed PA, this fixed the issue only once. This morning, relaunched PA on my slowest configuration, same issue, PA stopped working.

I wonder if it's not releated to the system installation. Unfortunately, i see no debug option for PA.exe. This would be welcome in order to figure out what's going wrong.

Might be for you it's not, but when somebody have drivers from 2009 it's obviously driver issue. :p

Yep :) now i hope i will manage to figure out what's wrong. Fixing the issue is not mandatory (i could symply reinstall the machine) , finding the root cause could be profitable for other people having the same issue ;)
