What commanders will be in the game?

anyone know which commanders that are confirmed to the game?

i saw this post and my interest for commander went skyhigh

There's four so far ingame and apparently more being designed as time goes on.

I think they were aiming at something like 30? I could be completely wrong though.

It's a UEF commander (UEF are from the SupCom franchise) isn't it a bit odd for PA ?

From the comment above, someone has just the blue UEF ACU but hasn't played SupCom at all.

We don't know.

They haven't told us how many, what they'll look like, or what they'll do.

It's likely that different commanders will have different abilities, but we don't know what those will be.

So far we know of 6 Commanders.

4 Have Varied Levels of Exclusivity;

Alpha
Delta
Progenitor (still forthcoming)
Theta (still forthcoming)

And 2 Commanders that everyone will have access to(so far as we know);

Raptor
Spider

These 2 will prolly have name changes at some point I imagine.

Neutrino once said they will be aiming for 100 commanders, they even hired someone to work exclusively on commanders.

Those were likely in regards to the 102 Custom Commanders they need to create for the Higher Level Backer Rewards.

That might have been it. I don't remember it that clearly, I just remember thinking; 'Damn that are a lot of different commanders.'

But even if those commanders are made for the Higher Level Backers would they be exclusive or available for all players?

Those are custom commanders for those specific backers only.

It's going to be a sad day when they take our beloved alpha & delta Coms away btw if you look at the com wiki it states a viper com but there is no raptor mentioned so maybe the names got mixed up?

The current delta one seems meh, more like the Progenitor one rather than the original model. I never use it and wouldn't mind losing it, but the only way I'd tolerate losing the Alpha is if they put the original Kickstarter commander in.

Yes, the "102" referenced is indeed for custom commanders. That said, we'll have a selection of regular commanders for people to pick from as well, in addition to whatever commanders they own beyond that.

About the Alpha commander are you being sarcastic? To be honest I think it's quite and ugly can. I certainly did not get in the Beta for that thing. The Delta is quite nice, but I will not have it anymore when Beta ends.

I hope we get 6 - 10 commanders for the general player to choose of.
