Are the ones where 9 Ai spawn, you spawn, and a second after the game starts one of the AI is annihilated Did he self-destruct? Did he spill coffee on himself, and accidentally delete his commander? Was he so in awe of my prowess that he took his own life, rather than die with honor? We will never know. Rest in Peace AI 3.
AIs that spawn inside places they are not supposed to be (like crevasses, craters) have been known to self-destruct. it happened to me.
10 Man FFA's where two people leave, the two remaning AI suicide on one guy kiling him and himself.. the other trys it on you, you kill him and still win the FFA. Or really any 10 man FFA is fun to win.
Oh wow. Ok then. I see. Generally I don't see that - I just happily come across them sometime and ignore them rather than lose my army to destroy a useless target. Most recently, for pink AI 7... A metal point spawned at the base of one of those weird desert cylindrical stalagmites. He survived the entire game because he spawned on the metal point at a 30 degree angle. It meant that nothing could target him at all except nukes and orbital lasers. Poor AI 7. And if I'm playing on metal planets they spawn in the trenches. First actual self destruct though!
