Game Status

My office is practically mourning the C&C cancellation.
In the mean time I realise the competition is tough hurrr hurrr hurrr.
Well, its the fourth C&C death. I think that it was starting to hit the free to pay market to a degree that weirded people out. I am surprised how many people like playing a campaign mode. The only RTS I have ever played the full campaign on was Starcraft I and Warcraft II, III. Otherwise it really comes down to the multiplayer, AI, and random maps like in age of empires II (missed those, thats why I like the nature of PA maps so far)

I was surprised there was ever an issue over the release date, I thought it was a loose date anyways. The game is done when its done. Cant wait for the next patch, the time since the last one always tells me the next is gonna be a doozy.

I think a cheese plate with wine and then a good IPA sitting next to me while I play PA is in order tonight.

I`m so butthurt over the loss of C & C as well as Rome 2`s horrible failure at launch. At least I have PA senpai to keep me warm on the cold grueling nights

Hopefully there wont be any more discussions about this issue. It's clear to me that Uber has enough resources to put a solid game on the market in a couple of months or maybe half a year. Who cares it will be released when it's done! The team is also really devoted and passionate to make this game work. Uber is listing to the community that is also one really important to make a really awesome strategy game that hopefully gets close to the greatness of TA and Supcom.

Yup.... Been through the whole C&C Alpha process since the beginning and it's true that the game was not that what the community wanted, sadly. But still I'm surprised that they pull the plug, that the Dev team knew nothing about it and that they all get fired now. How does that come together with their official statement, where they hinted on another take on C&C that is more in line with the community wishes? How can they know what the community wants if they fire all the people who got our feedback!?

Anyway, thats why I always valued Uber and PA; this game is exactly what the community wants, and I'm looking forward to it's released, delayed or not
