Posting this here to raise awareness about horrible industry practice from Wild Games Studio, and there apparently horribly made game "Day One: Garry's incident".
man i saw his review before it got taken down. the game looked terrible, he didn't even have to explain it it was so bad. not the worst game ever, but still.
Negative feedback is a part of content creation; if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Or industry in this case.
It's alarming how easily the system can be abused to potentially silence even a large Youtube channel. Google needs to come up with new rules!
As far as I understand, it's not Google's fault. Large media organisations force them to have systems like this. Same reason Netflix and LoveFilm use Silverlight, even though it's complete bollocks.
I'm sure Google implemented this system due to pressure from media lobbyists. No doubt about it. It doesn't mean that they can't have a system in place to protect their partners from abuse. Reviewers like TB make them good money with their work. I think it's not to much to ask that Google looks after them, too.
