    Yeah roaches were fun. I think nano turrets (fixed engineering buildings with a powerful, medium range nanolathe on it) would be nice.

    I noticed many posts noted EMP's, make it so one can make half baked nukes (finished them early, thus saving resources), but they blow up early (in the atmosphere) above the target being an effective EMP...

    Others have mentioned hovercraft (transports?), I am game for that.

    Finally, maybe some dirt-bike (rather specific on light weight motorcycle) style unit that can drive short distances across water. Maybe it can be infused with other tier 1 units in terms of switching out weapons, but the key is the bike can, over short distances of water, transverse what that of which normal land units cannot. They could effectively be a land scout that rivals the drones, but what they lack in naval exploration they make up for via some (weak by default) firepower.

    I would like to see a unit with Jump jets, maybe a crawling bomb that can jump a short distance giving it a chance to close on larger long ranged units like the Leveler.

    Id really prefer a carrier that has its own drone fighters like the carriers from RA

    attributes for factions i.e. Invictus (high damage ammo special unit) Faction 2 (self healing special unit) faction 3,4,5,6?? (armoured , carrier & escorts , moving lathe & escorts , fast moving land special unit)

    A T1 dive bomber that does a parabolic run. Nearing and at the top of the parabola it's out of range of AA but as it dives towards its target it'll come within range and drop a medium power bomb.

    Kessler Missile

    A "nuke" type weapon for breaking orbital dominance. Launches directly up from the silo and explodes, sending out 200 high damage friendly-fire-enabled projectiles in a random 360 degree spread through the orbital layer. They orbit the planet for 1 minute before reentering harmlessly.

    -Repair Station that repairs up to 3 units/structures in the range of like the laser turret attack.

    -Drone Station that deploys drones to assist construction in a certain range around the Station.

    -Battle, Assault and Siege Class tanks and bots.(Battle- high fire rate/mid-short range/mid-low damage/mid speed/high hp; Assault- mid fire rate/mid range/mid damage/mid-high speed/mid hp; Siege- low fire rate/long range/high damage/slow speed/high hp)

    -Air/Navel/Orbital transports.

    -IPBM. Inter Planetary Ballistic Missile- fired from the orbital launcher already in-game. 30-60% more AOE and damage then nuke.

    -Laser and rocket Gunships.

    -Orbital defense satellites in stead of fighters.(laser, missile and anti-nuke)

    -An orbital unit that manipulates gravity to slow down orbital landing units for the turrets to hit. Can be countered by sending your own orbital defense satellite(s) to take them down.

    -An orbital super weapon similar to the Zeus from GI Joe movie

    -A Space station that is about 50x25x25 that can either be built on or has built in defense and factories for planetary assault by putting it in close orbit.

    -Balance change here not a unit. Putting a time limit/fuel/radiation exposure thing on inter-planetary transports to stop parking units like the commander in space. Or can be combated with a the above Station by having rockets to propel it toward the unit.

    -EMP units: A mobile EMP missile launcher. A way to switch catapult launcher to EMP. EMP orbital launcher.

    -A orbital fabrication unit.

    -A new tier of factories built by advanced fabers of same type(bot, vehicle, air, naval) for large units like experimental however not called that(maybe ultimate or pinnacle something that represents last or biggest) that are just really expensive that could never be supported by basic economy. They are also not Godlike so they are best used with the normal units as well. They will be a little bigger then the commander but nothing like the ones from SupCom. Maybe those could be in there as well a like an addon for the commander to crawl into and use like a suit.

    How about an advanced tank that shoots the commander uber cannon shot, just dumbed down so its not OP.

    (I have not viewed the entire thread so apologies if I post an idea already suggested.)

    Termites
    Advanced bot
    Build cost: low

    Function: Termites will have the unique ability to self-replate; this ability can only be triggered when the bot is actively destroying structures or units. The bot will deal damage by consuming units and structures. A single termite will be very weak they however become very powerful when in a swarm.

    Counters: Laser turrets will be very ineffective against swarms and will quickly be overrun; weapons with splash capabilities will be best suited to dealing with swarms.

    Appearance: The bots will repressible a robotic soldier termite they will be very small


    Shield generator
    Advanced structure
    Build cost: medium

    Function: the prevent damage from small forces and artillery. The shield will have the diameter of 3 advanced bot factories. The shield will have a small amount of HP and won’t be capable of stopping any large number of forces. Once the shield has collapsed a set period of 20 seconds will be required with no damage taken for the shield to restabilise. Overlapping shields take full damage each rendering overlapping useless.

    Counters: sheer numbers, large amounts of artillery.

    I want an earthquake machine, or it could be a building.. Something that puts cracks in the terrain, can block off a path or whatever. Seems trivial, but putting the option there.
