Hello, Please post here your graphic card, and if you get troubles with them in-game (driver crashes, low fps etc). Supported cards: AMD Radeon HD 5850 AMD Radeon HD 6750M AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT AMD Radeon HD 7970 EVGA GTX 670 EVGA 660TI INTEL HD Graphics 4000 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Unsupported cards: ATI Radeon HD 4800 ATI Radeon HD 4850 ATI Radeon HD 7950 NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M Note: Unsupported cards means people are getting troubles in-game ( low fps, driver crash, game crash).
Supported - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 - never had any trouble with it EDIT - My friend has a GTX 770, and he's never had issues either.
I use the AMD Radeon HD 6750M and have had no issues so far. Suprisingly plays at a smooth 50 to 60 fps on high settings. Uber drops it to around 40.
How does your GTX 570 run it? I am looking at possibly upgrading to a GTX 670Ti, so I imagine that it will work a little better than the 650, but I am curious what kinds of FPS readings you are getting and under what conditions ( resolution, AA, HDR, presets)?
Radeon HD7950, no problems (but since there is HDR and AA, i get bad framerates with both of them on)
Nvidia GTX 560- runs smoothly on Medium with HDR but no AA. Going to try switching to high next time I play. Also runs on a laptop with GT420m (same as a GT540m confusingly! both are Fermi 96 cuda core parts). Was fine on Medium, not tried since HDR update yet. Also as side note HDR mode looks awesome!
A quick question- what was the reason for 'unsupported' on the 4800 card? I didn't think PA used anything beyond DX10 so it should work. Also how much memory did that system have if it was just low fps? I've found my laptop with 8gb ram and a pretty basic GT420m card is usually faster than my main system with 4gb ram and a GTX560 simply down to memory (on very small maps where 4gb ram is enough the 560 is better, but I can play MUCH larger maps on the laptop due to double the memory). Just curios as even with HDR on PA doesn't seem that graphically intensive...
Hi, AMD Radeon HD4850 : Game running on windows 8.1 (13.4 beta driver only) but with frequent crash to desktop caused by lack of driver update AMD Radeon HD5850 : Game running on windows 8.1 very smooth with HDR on and never got a single CTD
Because with this card you have two choices: 1) last beta driver and 3 fps 2) last normal driver and driver crash often
Nvidia GTS 450 - works just fine. EDIT: by the way this is a really good idea - well done for organising this
Supported "Intel HD 4000" sandybridge, Windows 8 64bit. 4gb Ram needed! Acer Iconia Slate/Tablet Pc i5 3317u 1.7ghz , 4gb Ram, Intel HD 4000. 25 - 38 fps @ 1280x720(desktop resolution) , All in game settings on medium, HDR off, FXAA off, Resolution -1. (HDR, FXAA currently not working on Intel Chipsets)
I don't think this idea will works as long as many people just have problems with their systems and not with video cards. I'll add a bit info here about cards which are really unsupported. First those onboard (integrated on motherboard) graphics cards: Code: ATI Radeon 2100 Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family And those old discrete cards which lack of OpenGL 3 support: Code: Nvidia GeForce GTX 7900 NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500
It's good as idea, but I do think this idea won't work for now because everything change with each PA build. So we can list cards which actually do not met minimum requirements, but anything else it's completely waste of time because when Uber push new build all information in this topic will be outdated.
Not really because they are not working on cards compatibility. My game is crashing since start of the game with my first computer and nice on the second. Anyway I will still update this with players feedback.
Devs are working on compatibility, but they can't fix driver crashes because AMD abandon updates for those cards. Problem with such list is simple: when next build released game will use new features, new shaders. It's mean it's will work by other way and crashes/freezes will be caused by other reasons. Then better add dates when exactly it's was reported and why exactly you listed card as "Unsupported". Currently your list will only confuse people.
