Hi Devs/Com, Are any of these Planed: Suns: Size-Colour (white dwaf / red Giant) Age! (supernova) < good for timed game Asteroid belt Comets. Other Options: Atmosphere Type (Colour) Life (Plants) (YES/NO) <goldilock zone Temperature (Restrictions)< distance from the sun hot/cold Gavity (Restrictions) reflect speed of play Scale: are you going to make the editor with real scale measurements to make it easier to understand: Bug : Not sure if i'am the only one, but i cant seem to save planet trajectory, so when i load up my system they all wrong.. and all are set to normal orbits!!
I think there should be an option for a planet's spin speed (or slow them all down in general). I think they spin WAY to quickly which gives odd shadowing effects
I desperately want to see the Gas Planets. Planet rings and actual asteroids (as in not small planets) Giving Asteroids things like higher mass ratios would be cool. I would also like to see planets closer to the sun giving higher energy for solar arrays. I also want to see lasting effects on planets from being smashed. They should get huge lava filled craters and have life on them (trees) wiped out for the rest of the game. Asteroids should be mobile using a single Halley but not have enough space to do much on them. Comets would be fun visually. Captureable things like nergy to matter converters, super canons, teleporters would be fun. Make some technology stuff you have to find before you can make it yourself. (so exploration is rewarding) Space relics could be cool here. Also multi sun systems, wormholes that allow quick travel from one location in the system to another, and more. Mostly I want things that increase strategic options Perhaps larger planets with more mass take higher level transporters in order to move on or off,. Ways for starting players or teams on different planets or even in spacewith their commander on a transporter. Mass desity maps (so you can have them grouped differently on different kinds of maps, perhaps some only have them near poles or under water for example. I suspect a lot of features will be modded into the game after it's out of beta. Also "better" mass, where some mass points are more productive than others (making them something to fight over more)
I agree with many things that are being suggested here. However, I'm gonne wait with my suggestions till the system editor has had a major update. Did you know that multi sun systems don't have planets?
in regards to your thoughts on moving the planets...roughly how long has it been taking you to move them? It seems like even with 5 Rockets attached to a very small moon it is taking forever to move and I'm not even sure if it's really "going anywhere". It isn't showing the different colored trajectory like when jumping into the transporting probe.
