I kinda like it One commander type i always wanted is one which actually drives instead of walks. like drives on tank threads like those robots from Terminator 1 future scene. At least one commander type has to replace his legs with threads
There is the delta commander, theta commander, raptor commander, and this the spider commander or crab commander or dirx commander (any of the 3 above) making it the fourth.
There is the Progenitor Commander who was the picture for the Delta commander, but has not been in the game yet.
Crab commander (crap commander) please, don't do this. I'll start by saying I like the name QuadCommander. However, since there will be about 100 ish commanders in the game when launched, it will probably not be the only one with 4 legs. So a more personal name might be more fitting.
I was just thinking, Uber probably has a completely awesome name planned out for it so let's just wait and see.
I do not like it that much. as far as i'm concerned, commanders should look like commanders, i.e. 2 legs. I may not be opened mind enough, but it's the very first time i'm not happy with a commander. Maybe because the way it's walking is not as smooth as i was expecting, or legs being too much short. I see this commander much more as a standard unit.
I'd disagree. I think there should be a large range of commanders which includes two legged, four legged, and treaded. Just as long as the commander is obviously a commander and doesn't blend in with other units it would be fine. Diversity is even expected with all the different factions.
I would like to see the legs a bit bigger and the arms a bit smaller. Smaller arms might not be nessesary if the legs are scaled up. You may not like it, but other people might, Like me. It's not like someone is forcing you to use it. Also because you don't use the 4legged commander, it's easier to find your commander among you allies. And if you enemies have a 4legged commander you get to DESTROY it. See only advantages. EDIT: I would also like to see a commander selection screen. A screen with all the commanders are nicely sorted and where I can select a preferd color scheme.
Yeah, Iwas just expressing my own point of view, but i have no problem if most of people disagree with me
If there will be factions with distinct commanders and units this guy will command the red and black faction with the sharp and pointy units. SHARP AND POINTY!
