Clopse SAturday Night tournament

As the title explains I want to have a weekly tournament that begins and ends the same night. I understand the time will not suit everyone but I must be stern on this. I will put up the $20 every week that doesn't have a sponsor.

Tournament will be on Saturday 8th march at 8pm GMT.

• If you have signed up and cannot make the tournament you need to contact a tournament organizer at least 30mins before.
• Failure to do this will result in a 2 week ban.
• If you win your first game but can't play further, your opponent in the next gamewill get a bye.
• all maps will be a 700 radius planets without a moon.
• Gentleman rules. (Commander must stay on your planet)
• Working on google document but just leave your name in this thread so I can add you when I make the document.

It doesn't seem possible for aus players. In china for exemple, the tournament would be played from 3 am to 7 am.

... Hey wait! it feets perfectly with my end of saturday bar nights, i should sign in if there's no alcohol control before it starts!

Oh this could be a geography fail. Can check it later. No problem on my end having it a few hours earlier. Probably could get other people opinions for the first one.

Just set the time back a couple I hours. Still late but possible on a Saturday night I suppose.

The start time on pa tournament is wrong. Will try fix it and pm players about the change.

I did get a laugh when I read it should be ok for some Aus players. Unfortunatly having played a few other games competitively in the past I know the pain of playing in European comps. If you make it a few hours earlier that would make it a lot more viable for Aussies.

Well I often play til 4 or 5 in the morning. . But you're right, unfortunately with the way the timezones are right now it's hard to please everyone. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. In the end I decided to please the masses and myself. .

So I see more people than the 16 have been allowed register. At the minute these are subs, in joining order. But if we manage to get 32 I may be forced to extend it. Will take a head count at 17:55 and then make the draw. The draw will be done live on twitch just before the start. Please come to the IRC so we can organise this:
