Pre-order/alpha commnaders.

I was just curious when we get our special commander for early alpha backers.

My guess is late beta. The emphasis is currently on expanding the features and performance. Adding redundant features will come later (you already have 2 commanders to choose from - more then enough to play the game).

Yeah I was just looking it up, I pledged 90 dollars and 90+ gets the delta commander with the "wings". Just wanted to know when players will see that

oh yeah and the prognitor, which i think is the new "raptor" commander but I could be wrong

and make sure you click on the icon with the commander before you click ready to switch between alpha and delta, the delta's the skinny blue one.

(and the shoulder blade opening up animation you won't get to see in-game, as for the jetpacks, they're just exaust ports and both commanders kinda have them)

Yes, i understand what the commanders are. they said you get the shoulder blade flaps up for pre ordering... also what about the prognitor ? The standard delta does NOT have the flaps up/wings. Also if that's the case how come every beta player can use the delta if only certain teirs of backers could use it. 90+

That's the Theta commander. Alpha and Theta are in the game, Delta and Raptor-comm are coming.

It's good to do some research before posting, you know. It's not the first time I have to point that out to you.

If you literally hover over the 'theta' commander you are saying it is. It clearly says delta. also in early alpha it said delta in strategic view when it was the only commander you could use

and because this is beta you won't get to have the flaps up untill release. Flaps up or down is too small a detail for it to be a seperate commander this IS the delta.

also you call the flaps two different names "wings" and "jetpacks", which made me think you where refferring to two different things.

I was clairvoyant enough to see you meant the flaps by the "wings" (I bet if he opens and closes them fast enough he starts to gain lift ^w^ )...but as for jetpacks I had to assume you where refferring to this

It's weird though, if they were the same then how come everyone can use them.... like i said you're only suppose to have that commander if you donated 90+.... did you not understand that?

They are quite similar, but I'm not supposed to have the Delta. I purchesed the game for $60, so I should have the Theta. Oh well, maybe you are right. In that case, I apologise.

It just seems really weird of Uber to put that commander in for everybody right now when some of us are not supposed to have it.

Not when you consider that they ONLY have 2 commanders.....if there was 5 commanders plus the Theta, Progenitor, Delta and Alpha then yeah it wouldn't make too much sense for everyone to have access to everything.
