All of my friends (college graduates) are. I think there's something wrong with me because I've not seen the appeal since the end of first cartoon series.
If you still like the old ones, look up "Pokemon The Origin", it's about 90 minutes of nostalgia covering several points of Red's journey through Kanto. As for the new games, I can't speak of X/Y but the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum generation was my favorite. Global trades, battles, things to actually do in the battle frontier after beating the game. Yes~ But somehow I didn't get into 5th gen because I play on my laptop a lot now. On topic, I won't be getting it til like...Christmas if I'm lucky.
