Hi sry about my bad English i have a Questchen. That game are awsome but fraps mean to me i have just 15-20FPS its be laggy verry mutch, i can play Battlefield 3 on Ultra setting, and it feels in PA that the crome came eats my memory. someone know a trick to handle this? My System: Win 7 64 BIT Phenmom 2 X6 1055T ( 6 core CPU ) 4 BG Gaming RAM Gskill 1333 EVGA GTX 460 ( NVIDIA ) good system Farcry 3 works verry well to! Need help pls. and how can i disable this cam corder mode?
Buy more RAM, 4GB isnt enough in general. However it wont really help with your FPS in general. The game just is a bit laggy from time to time so far as it still needs more optimization. Beta and all. You could ofc also check if you can install newer drivers for your gfx, but dont expect miracles either way.

Ok, just a few points to be made: -PA is in Beta and lacks optimization, performance will improve. - 4GB RAM is not enough for it when planets get above size 3 or even smaller when theres a lot of detail on them. But at quite low fps for a shooter. A 460 on Ultra at FullHD delivers something around 25-30 avg fps, with drops well below 20. Once again, not above 30 fps. Id expect something in the order of 15 average fps out of a 460 when pushed at FC3.
I feel so bad for the ppl that didnt buyed ddr3 ram when it was so ridiculous dirt cheap. Bought 16GB for just 70 euro's .
PA is not very optimized right now. Lots of performance improvements to be made. Try turning quality settings to low, particularly, remove shadows. In the meantime, try playing on smaller planets, or solar systems with only 1 or 2 planets. That will help. Unfortunately, beta is beta. Many improvements to come.
