I bought the game many months ago when it was in early alpha, I have tried to play 50 games or more and have only been able to play ONE of them. I can launch the game and join lobbies no problem, but when the game is launching it either stops responding, and causes ALL other programs to stop responding, and then it takes at least 5 minutes to close. While it is not responding I can't tab out, alt ctrl delete, or anything. Another crash that sometimes happens is that I will load the game and get in, to a black screen. I can see the text that says to choose an area for my commander and that's about it. I paid about $100 for a game that I have played once for half an hour and a game that has caused me much frustration.
Why don't you report about your problem before then? Actually your problem is here: Code: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130708-1532) Memory: 8192MB RAM Available OS Memory: 3070MB RAM You got computer with 8GB RAM, but because of 32-bit OS you only able to use 3GB. What's worse game only able to use 2GB and this is main reason of crashes you met. With this hardware you really need to upgrade to 64-bit OS because currently you just waste RAM you paid for.
I know I need to upgrade, but my hard drive is currently too full to partition so that I can install 64-bit, and I do not own a copy of Windows 7-64 bit, I don't even have a windows cd. I don't want to illegally install windows 7. Nor can I afford a copy of Windows 7 atm. I did post a topic earlier, but idk what happened to it. I can't remember if this is a different account, or if it got deleted, I'm not sure but after 2 months nothing happened to the topic so I made this one then forgot about it.
Actually you don't need to pay extra for 64-bit version of Windows, your key (even if it's OEM key) can be used for both 32-bit and 64-bit installations. I don't sure how you can obtain installation media, better to contact Microsoft support and they should help you to find out. PS: If you still want to stick to 32-bit version you might check those two topic: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/beta-error.51695/page-2 https://forums.uberent.com/threads/crashing-on-32-bit-windows-heres-a-guide-to-help.51990/ They explain how you can patch both Windows and PA.exe to let game use more RAM (3GB isnstead of 2GB).
Thank you, I did not know that I could use both 32 bit and 64 bit. I will contact them. Some of my other games could sue a boosting as well, and my hard drive.
