If people only play the accepted efficient way, the only game differences come from the planets, and the players, who may or may not know what said accepted/efficient way actually is.

How do you know something is different (or 'unique') unless you have something to compare it to?

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter whether something is new, different, original, or whatever, so long as it's not the same.

I don't really get people asking how to play competitively, its like they don't even enjoy the game and just want to compete with other people.

Which if that is the case.....what is the point of playing any specific game at all?

The very concept confuses me that a person would consider it wasting time to play the game and get better over being told a specific pattern to follow just to compete...

Like I said instead of wasting hours upon hours in learning how to play you could just copy the best players who have spent months perfecting efficient play, then you can improve and change based on that. I can't believe you are arguing for people wasting time learning how to play themselves when other people have already done the hard work for them.

Wow this thread has become a "Ï am pro but too lazy to test and making excuses thread". The OP posted what he thought would help other newer players with, which is more then can be said for most "gamers", let's give him due credit and polite constructive criticism if you assist.
