When trying to launch the game, there is the pa.exe error even after driver updates. I'm on steam. I'm not sure what else would cause this. Here is the DxDiag.txt.

Most likely you tried to use updates from notebook manufacturer, you need to use Intel site instead:
    Code:
    Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6200 @ 2.13GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
    Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics
    Driver Date/Size: 3/26/2011 11:17:46, 7473664 bytes
A long as I understand this CPU have 1st generation of Intel iGPU, but I'm not 100% sure what exactly driver you need, but first try this one:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521

    Post here about results.

When I tried to install it I got this error. "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."

It's mean your notebook manufacturer is total crap don't care about own customers. :p

Actually you still can bypass this check and install generic drivers, check these articles:
    http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm
    http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033915.htm

Also you need to download same driver in ZIP archive using this link:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3231&DwnldID=22520

Quite strange, can you check if your DxDiag output changed? Or upload it here I'll check.

This is weird, actually you should able to install generic drivers. Probably you need try to post on Intel forums:
    https://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Explain what is your problem, what's you tried, post DxDiag too.

I'm sure there is some way to bypass the problem, but you need try to fix it on your own first because I'm can't realle advise anything else except clean Windows reinstall.
