I installed the game, and after setting it to run on my AMD 7970M discrete card, it worked fine. I thought I might try to update the graphics drivers to see if that would help the load time. Now it crashes at startup. I've attached DXDiag, and I can provide a .dmp file if requested.

What should I do to try to fix it?
EDIT: Fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling AMD Graphics Drivers

You need to set PA.exe to run on high performance discrete graphics.

    Check this how-to on youtube:

Also you don't really use Intel graphics for games, but probably you need to update it's driver anyway:
    Code:
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
    Driver Date/Size: 3/26/2012 19:09:59, 8087040 bytes
Download and install "Win64_153117.exe" from here:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23106
This will improve overall performance of your system.

Doing a full run on Windows Update can't hurt either. Should increase performance, stability, and security.

I ran windows update and reinstalled planetary annihilation. I can't update the intel drivers, as they are included with the AMD ones. PA.exe and coherentgui.exe were already set to high performance. It was how I did it last time. I'm still having no luck.

I have one question: where you download AMD drivers from? From your laptop manufacturer website?

There is problems with your DxDiag: it's don't show version of drivers properly so I can't actually check what drivers you have.

Totally uninstalled AMD drivers from their site and then reinstalled the same ones from their site. Fixed the issue, game now runs fine. Thanks!
